Hallstatt

The easiest way to enjoy the alpine city is to take the ferry which travels across the picturesque landscape and the arresting scenery that comes along the way. Hallstatt is a great adventure experience complete with surfing, hiking, boating, ice cave exploration and of course, the legendary salt mines which were the first in the world.

Filled with exciting places, exotic locations and friendly locals the place is no less than a paradise. The cherry on the cake is the Hallstatt culture, tradition and depth that the 7000 year old village carries with it!

Known for its beautiful and flamboyant pastel colored houses and scintillating natural beauty; Hallstatt is the most popular place in Austria. Located in Salzkammergut, it is perhaps the most photographed village in the region. Nestled near the Hallstätter Sea, the magnificence and beauty has awed millions.

The Chinese were overwhelmed by the immense beauty and simplicity of the village and tried to duplicate the Hallstatt salt mines located nearby, but what makes Hallstatt truly amazing is the heritage that the place carries with it.
